ammowell/Twitter1 of 7Severe, fast-moving storms hit Northern Illinois Monday afternoon, bringing strong winds that knocked out power to thousands and downed tree branches. Wind gusts of up to 67 mph were reported at Chicago Midway Airport. Meteorologists said the storm system was moving at around 60 mph.
